Will you still love God when God is all you have left?

Author Kerry Monroe never knew that one day she'd have to face such a tough question. Could she still love God if she lost everything? Her husband...her child?
In God Always Knew, Kerry shares her story of overcoming faith. The victim of child abuse and rape, Kerry spent many years searching for security and wholeness until she met Jesus Christ. He healed her brokenness and showed her the joy of a more complete life in Him. But then, the unexpected happened. Her beloved husband was diagnosed with a life threatening form of cancer, and in the midst of the unthinkable her youngest child developed leukemia.
Follow Kerry on her discovery of a sovereign God who loves us completely and fills our deepest needs, in spite of our circumstances. God Always Knew is a journey into the deeper issues of our Christian faith and will touch your heart with the hope that only a loving God can provide.

"Simple Blessings Revealed" is a book about learning to press in and press on with Jesus while moving through the daily difficulties in today’s world. God laid on my heart to take the book of James and use it to write a daily devotional study.
I also share some of my personal writings while being in the midst of some of my own difficulties. What developed is this 31 day devotional study in James.
There's a folktale about a nightingale's song being sung with the sweetest of melodies during its caged time. It is a night song. This is also true with the Christian who learns to trust in Jesus during their darkest of times. When we are pressed by trials or hemmed in by God...this is our time to draw close and develop a relationship that will be stronger than we could ever imagine. The Lord will reveal Himself and we will have learned a new and even sweeter song developed out of the darkness, by believing in His faithfulness. We can then sing that sweet, honest melody of a nightingale unto the Lord during any trial that comes into our lives as well as during the easy days.
